I. The Golden Combination of Raw Materials

The core of SBR-modified asphalt lies in the perfect fusion of rubber and asphalt. During production, premium base asphalt is first selected as the foundation material, with its penetration and softening point meeting specific requirements. Simultaneously, SBR rubber particles serve as the modifier, where their particle size and purity directly impact the final product's performance. When these two raw materials meet at a specific temperature, they embark on a remarkable transformation journey.

II. The Temperature Code of the Process

Temperature control throughout production is extremely stringent:

Melting Stage: Asphalt heated to 160-180°C, becoming fluid
Mixing Stage: SBR particles added and thoroughly blended in high-shear equipment
Curing Stage: Maintained at approximately 170°C to allow full reaction between rubber molecules and asphalt
Temperature fluctuations exceeding 5°C during this process compromise product uniformity.

III. The Finished Product's Remarkable Transformation

After 12-24 hours of development, the mixture undergoes its final metamorphosis:

Rubber particles dissolve completely, forming a uniform system

Asphalt ductility increases by over 50%

Low-temperature crack resistance is significantly enhanced

Once tested and approved, the finished product is cooled to 140°C for loading and transport, becoming a premium material for road construction projects.
